Our Four Stage Quality Control process ensures that all clients receive the very best service possible. We take pride in our commitment to provide the highest level of accuracy because as your partner in your business, your patients are important to us. Our staff are trained in-house to conform to our expectations of accuracy, and patient care and confidentiality. 4QC: Stage 1

The transcriptionist listens to the whole dictated file once, then rewinds and begins the transcription. During the transcription the MT will

• check spellings of medical terms, drugs and names of doctors and hospitals as necessary.
• verify that the prescribed medicines are available in the dosages specified.
• Once the file is completed the MT will listen to the file completely again in order to ensure that nothing was missed.

Once the file is signed off by the MT it is checked back into the system and put in the job queue for the Medical Editor.

4QC: Stage 2

The Editor listens to the file while reading the transcript, then goes back to verify the content, as well as the grammar and syntax of the file. This is a crucial step in certifying the accuracy of the final transcript. The edited file is then checked in to the system and queued for inspection by the Quality Control supervisor.

4QC: Stage 3

The quality control supervisor checks the accuracy of the file. The Vuescribe QC staff include Doctors and Registered Nurses who bring additional expertise to the final content certification and sign off.

4QC: Stage 4

The complete file is returned to the Medical Records Administrator who checks to see that the file has gone through all necessary steps, and cross references the Patient “demographics” with the correct billing information. The file is then uploaded to the Client access website. The client is alerted that the file is ready for download.
